Couple Session in Fort Green Brooklyn NY

Well, my first couple shoot in Brooklyn New York is a fact! Of course I’m cheating a bit with selling free photoshoots in one of the coolest city’s in the world.. but that’s how things work when your network is back at zero again, I guess?

Looking back, I’m so happy that I received a message from Charlotte and Elie to do a shoot! Like us, they’ve just started a new chapter in life by moving to New York and so the photoshoot came on the perfect moment for them. They live in Manhattan now, but I asked them to come to Fort Greene as I know the sunset is going to be a bit better without those skyscrapers.. and so we did.

There is so much to discover in this city, but already Fort Greene is one of my favorite neighborhoods. It’s a bit calmer, you’ll find more local people, markets in the weekends, cool shops, great food and the vibe is so nice on a summer evening like this one!

All we did was chat and walk the streets as casual as possible. Slowly grabbed my camera and slowly started shooting.. My goal is trying to get my models feel at ease. Especially for guys a camera can be a dangerous object somehow.. so I don’t want to scare them away or let them make cringy faces. And when they are relaxed.. we can experiment more and more. 

But to be honest, Charlotte and Elie were pretty quick relaxed and so I captured them being madly in love and now and them let them do silly in front of my camera. It was such a joy with them in Fort Greene and a shoot definitely one to remember!
